3.0 out of 5 stars Good Product - Pathetic finishing and packaging

The reason for ordering this wooden board with wooden pieces is for the premium look and feel over the vinyl or plastic board. But all of that went in vain as the product didn't meet my expectations. Cons:1. Packaging: The packaging looked like the item was packed and repacked several times and straight out of garbage. I don't understand the logic behind not using a proper box for packaging and using a very old one. Hardly takes 5₹ for a new one. Refer attached image.2. Board finish: If only packaging was the issue I would have been at least not bothered. But on opening found the board finish to be very rough on the edges and giving a damaged look.Also refer to the image.3. Pieces splashed with colour: Some of the white pieces are having Green smudges, might be because of the Green velvet place holders for the pieces. The pieces might be places even before the green dye had fully dried. Attached only one image but quite some pieces had the issue.Individually all these are minor issues but on the whole it just doesn't feel right to spend 1.5K for a sub par product.Pros: Good sturdy pieces, Glossy look of board and might be long lasting.
