I was happily oblivious to the ill effects of plastics on our health and was using a Tupperware bottle in office until one day I saw small grayish-greenish dots at the bottom of the bottle and realized they were moulds developing of not getting washed properly for days. I took it home, got it washed in warm water but the moulds reappeared in a couple of days. Then I did some research and realized that glass is the only safe alternative.I am a very discerning person and before deciding to go for the TintBox bottle, I researched and compared different bottles available from various sources. I don’t mind spending a little higher but I need to get my money’s worth and every little detail counts.Pros –1. Unlike plastics, it’s 100% chemical and toxins free. So, good for your health2. Unlike copper bottles which are very popular these days, these don’t leach heavy metals. You can research on it !3. It’s borosilicate glass – doesn’t scratch even after usage unlike other glass bottles4. Actually keeps water fresh. After using this bottle, I have stopped drinking out of plastic bottles kept in meeting rooms in offc as I felt the difference5. Design is so appealing, when you carry it around people turn to give it a second look6. The handle on the cap makes it very easy to hold unlike ones which look like a powder can7. It’s totally leak proof; you have to click the cap twice to close it properly (double click locking mechanism as written in the description)8. The bottle looks and feels even better in reality than the photographs; never seen anything like it in India before; though have seen similar abroad but more than twice the price9. It’s as tough as possible in glass. Have dropped it twice already and still survived unscathed10. Little touches –like the apt size, very good logo, unique name and the interesting names they have kept for the different colours also count11. Makes for a great gift – unique, useful, and cool. Have bought many since for friends and family!Cons-1. Little pricey but you are getting your money’s worth!

The bottle looks pretty and works fine until it finally falls. And that's when you realize that it's probably not borosilicate, and if it is, it's so thin that it breaks the very first time it falls. The whole point of paying such a premium on a bottle was that it would last long, but the quality is not up to the mark. Aesthetics are fine. Very disappointed. I'll not be buying this product again.

Excellent bottle. Easy to clean. Leak proof. The double-clicking lock mechanism means I can carry this in my gym bag and it won't leak into my bag. Grippy silicon exterior so it won't slip from your hands. All in all, a good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Nice bottle but red colour looks so impressive rather than any, you have to be very careful if you this bottle, it's fancy bottle for flex not for round though use, that rubber won't protect it. Size was nice, plastic material good but only for flex not for durability, glass thickness easily got broken, use wisely but looks so rich just adorable that's why 5 star
