The product looks exactly what it looks like in pictures. Apparently it's a working model and it came with some cotton so thread can be made from it. I haven't tried that yet. However, I bought it more for decorative purpose. At a time when Gandhian values are fast eroding, I wanted to make sure we had a reminder of the same through this Charkha.

It's very expensive as the dimensions given is not fulfilled by the product. Instead of 31 it's only 26cm.According to this size they have taken quiet a lot of money.

Its too big, too glossy. For a showpiece, a smaller size with a matte finish would give it an antique look. However the product is good, i received it without any damage
